well, i just moved a bunch of dls. we made large, raised beds using treated lumber, 10 inches high x 12 ft long x 5 ft wide. the beds were filled with good landscaping mix soil with mushroom compost. after planting, i have been hand weeding and i just put down some miracle grow fertilizer with weed stop. i think it has something that keeps seeds.
